Jasmine, I'm CJ Garriott's niece. I've only visited Seadrift a few times, but I made a small webpage about it at http://www.squidoo.com/seadrift

Damon,
First off, thank you for your post. Second, your Aunt Dorothy is one of the most interesting ladies I've ever met! She is full of tales about Seadrift and your family roots. Glad to hear that you and the family enjoyed the articles in the Dolphin Talk. Thanks so much! - Jasmine

I really enjoyed the article on Aunt Geraldine. She is a wonderful lady and I love listening to her stories about Seadrift and our family history. She tells it like it is... or was. She really is the family glue that keeps all her brothers in line. (and us newphews too) Another thing about her is her wonderful paintings. My favorite painting is a castle from Portugel. My Dad took a pic when he was in the Navy in the late 50s or ealy 60s and she painted a great piece of art. We had that art hanging in our living room as I was growing up in Seadrift. Later I actually saw that castle in an article in National Geographic magazine. Awesome!

Thanks for the support Deb. I greatly appreciate it - it makes it all worth while.
It's exciting to learn how much life the small town of Seadrift has.
If anyone would to share their story or has anyone they think would be a great video please email me at jas@discoverseadrift.com
Thanks again,
Jasmine
